Ealing Homes, on behalf of Ealing Council, is committed to meeting the Decent Homes standards. They have signed an agreement with about 30 contractors and consultants to complete the Decent Homes programme. The project is huge. Ealing Homes will spend £300 million by 2010 working on more than 10,000 homes and almost 150 estates.

The current phase of works – internal works 2006/07 – is well underway. Contractors Breyer, Connaught, Mulalley and Niblock are hard at work installing new Premiere Kitchens, bathrooms and flooring at homes around the borough.

Premiere Kitchens started the kitchen design surveys in early October 2006 and by the end of March 2007 designed and supplied over 2,500 kitchens.
